February Challenge: Day 8 – Peppers and Peanuts
WEEK 2 = YELLOW
Some colorful handmade decorations at my Grandfather's house. Not sure what it's supposed to signify, but I'm pretty sure it has to do with Chinese culture.

February 10, 2008Figured I’d comment here rather than flickr for a change 😀
Not sure what it’s supposed to signify, but I do know that typically peppers/chillis and corn would be hung to cure/dry on the external rafters. So, perhaps this is a throwback to tradition?

February 10, 2008Whoops! Should have read the title first! Still, hanging peanuts to cure is still required in terms of being able to eat them I think. Perhaps there is a dish that requires peanuts and chillis?
